The Story Farms was started as The Story Group in 2004 by Farmer Luke Hasell and his neighbour Jim Twine. Together they rear cattle ethically and organically. They also work with other farms and partners who share the same values. Their meat is sold in Luke’s three butcher shops and online.

Since then Luke has also curated and grown several ventures on his land: a successful festival, a stunning glamping site and a thriving wedding business. Last but not least, alongside Michelin starred chef Josh Eggleton he has opened Root restaurant which is featured in the Michelin Guide.

All of these endeavours are connected at the heart of the business with quality and sustainability at its core.
